PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :
A nice example of an original and vintage New Zealand theatre / stage light which has been mounted onto a lovely vintage WW11 tripod.
The light has been cleaned and has had a part strip back of paintwork to leave a semi industrial style finish.
The lovely original GEC lens is still in place and shows no damage.
In front of the lens is a sliding plate allowing for coloured or picture slides to be fitted and displayed.
The light can also then be adjusted via the side lever up or down and side to side via the U bracket attached to the tripod.
The tripod is in good all round condition is ex military and dates from 1943.
The painted brass bracket is stamped:
RMB STAND.LAMP OR HELIO A. MK111 1943
Still a functioning piece this light is ideal for those looking for a more compact version of a theatre light and tripod combination.
A great accompaniment to any vintage industrial interior.
