Nice and very rare this Lead / Alloy cast directional hand is painted black and is mounted on to a Rimu block via a lovely Brass back plate.

Who knows where this finger has pointed over the years, possibly Government institutional, old Banks, maybe Ablution or Trade  pointer, either way it's ready to be used again in a new home as a possible front door pull or directional aid.

Likely dating from circa 1920's /30's what makes it even more unique is that the fore finger is curled over the thumb and pointing down which suggests it may have been used above a doorway or the top of stairs.

Rimu base : 148mm x 115mm x 30mm

Finger and brass base : 150mm long x 68mm square base

Excellent for age with only minor age related wear.
