Nice looking example of a circa 1920's /30's Big Tree Motor Spirit wooden end panel.
A.S. Paterson & Co Ltd being the Sole importers of motor spirit under the Big Tree name.
This end panel would have been part of a box that would have been used to transport Big Tree's motor spirit.
These boxes became obsolete in the 1930's when fuel delivery came in via tankers to the pump.
SIZE : 360mm long x 243mm wide x 23mm thick
CONDITION : Overall good solid original condition, , general marks and dings consistent with age. Some age related oil stains.
Couple of nail and old borer holes. Light fading to some font. Some light paint spots.
