Rare to see now are these Japanese made felt wall hangings.This is the second one we have come by which features different images from the first.
Circa 1970's they were presumably made for the tourist market as a souvenir based item.
Showing some lovely artwork of the Fantail, Kiwi, Tiki, Mere, Maori Carver and other Kiwi classics.
A great piece of Kiwiana, this will look the part hanging in the Loo, Hallway or Bach and dream of those nostalgic Tiki Tours been, gone and about to do.
SIZE : 280mm wide x 850 mm high
CONDITION : Overall very good for age, some missing lettering to 'Clematis ' . Some light fading.
