PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :
Nice and complete with it's original base mount these rarely seen English made lights are trade marked Walligraph's, this one being the Zonalite model, BOM /2WG2, circa 1930's.
This example is in great vintage condition for it's age. The vitreous enamel shade is only showing minimal edge wear with no dents and great paint finish.
The body and joints work fine and the original cable clips are still in place.
The light has been rewired with a three core modern alternative braided cable with a modern inline on & off switch installed for easier switching .
The cable is connected to a period bakerlite three pin plug.
With it's lovely patina and versatile articulated movement this lovely anglepoise has many more years of use, it could be wall or bench mounted and would be ideal for the vintage workshop, any modern/vintage interior, shop or commercial application, pretty much anywhere it will be an admired statement piece.
